“Pwojè Mike” originally “Proje Timoun” was founded by Dr. Velouse Jean-Pierre Jean-Jacques and Mrs. Vivianne Jean-François following their visit to Haiti with Palm Beach Atlantic College in July 2010 after the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti in January 2010. Projè Timoun started as one of the many projects of “For The Children Inc.,” a non for Profit Organization with Ms. Reginale Durandisse as Founder/CEO.
Today, PWOJÈ MIKE, a non For Profit Organization under the leadership of Dr. Velouse Jean-Pierre Jean-Jacques helps orphaned children who are experiencing untold damage and despair since the January 2010, earthquake that left more than 200,000 dead and 1.2 million people homeless.
